Where a rich historical heritage meets Caribbean vitality and a melting pot where more than 50 cultures are represented. Where the only thing you need to worry about is deciding how to spend your next day in paradise.

Imagine Curaçao as the best-kept secret in the Caribbean. With more European flavor than anywhere else, Curaçao is an island of diversity and contrast; an inspiring and unique destination for those who want to party with the locals, discover the rich history of the Island though it’s museums and land houses or just relax and enjoy the sun, sand and over 40 beautiful beaches the island has to offer.

Day 1

Go to downtown for some shopping, and enjoy the capital city of Willemstad, you’ve likely seen the colorful postcard-perfect section of Handelskade perched along Santa Anna Bay.  Start your walking tour at the restored Rif Fort near the mouth of the harbor, filled with shops and dining venues to dig into, then cross the famous Koningin Emmabrug pontoon bridge to the Punda district and weave your way through the interlocking streets that house everything from artisan shops to upscale, brand-name retailers. Shoppers with an appetite should head to the Mercado Flotante - the bustling floating market that’s always bubbling over with fruits, vegetables and the day’s fresh catch.

Lunch: In Punda (Willemstad) you have to visit Plaza BieuOld Market, there you will encounter the most exquisite dishes of our local cuisine. There is an extensive menu to choose from; fresh fish and top it off with our famous Jambo ku funchi (Ocra and Cornmeal) dish.

Beaches:  It’s difficult to choose to visit one of our more then 40 stunning beaches, but the finest of them fringe the west end of the Island. You should definitely grab a rental car or hop a cab to Cas Abou Beach for arguably the prettiest stretch of sand and sea on the island.

Dinner: Dinner at restaurant the Gouverneur, surrounded by many other monumental buildings is situated at the Otrobanda Waterfront.

Evening: It’s time for some Caribbean life style Entertainment at Bermuda Caribbean Discotheque. Fridays and Sundays are the big nights.

Day 2

Explore Curaçao: Historic Willemstad is lovely, but to appreciate all that Curaçao has to offer, you should break out of the capital city for a day trip at least once. Rent a car or sign up for a guided tour and explore the island. The west side of Curaçao has more to offer than beautiful beaches.

A stop at Landhuis Kenepa and the Tula museum is a must when you are exploring Banda Bou.

The Tula Museum expresses the daily life of our African ancestors. Special attention is given to the period of slavery. The Tula Museum will demonstrate in all its expressions the battle and struggle against all ways and forms of slavery and also against racism.

Stop by Westpunt at playa Forti to enjoy the stunning sunset.

Lunch: Restaurant Komedor Krioyo. The authentic 18th century Landhouse Dokterstuin, houses the cozy Restaurant Komedor Krioyo, serving local Creole dishes.

Zambezi & Ostrich farm: Visit the Curaçao Ostrich Farm and make use of this opportunity to see these fascinating birds up close. You will be able to touch them, feed them and even ride them (only for the most daring).

Zambezi is a typical African restaurant next to the Ostrichfarm. You can overlook the farm from the wooden accommodation. They serve international dishes and the house specialties are made from the finest local Ostrich meat. Zambezi has a large selection of South African wines. Here you can dine in a relaxed ambience and enjoy the nightly campfire.

St.Tropez Ocean Club: Enjoy a bit of the French on our lovely island Curacao. Just sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful view while sampling exotic dishes and enjoy a delicious cocktail while the sunsets just the way you like.
